The Jensen Beach High School Class of 2025 held its commencement ceremony on June 2, 2025, celebrating the achievements of its students and the contributions they have made to their community. The event highlighted the dedication of various student organizations, including the National Honor Society (NHS) and the Key Club, which have collectively contributed thousands of hours of community service and raised funds for local charities.
During the ceremony, NHS members were recognized for their commitment, having inducted 98 new members and provided significant support to local organizations such as Nala's New Life Rescue and the Treasure Coast Food Bank. Notably, they partnered with the Gertrude Walden Childcare Center, organizing activities and providing holiday gifts for all 85 students.

Subscribe for Free Ava Van Coeur, a standout student and leader, was introduced as a speaker. She has held multiple leadership roles, including lieutenant governor of the Key Club, and will attend the University of Virginia to study architecture. The Key Club itself has logged over 1,200 volunteer hours this year, engaging in various community service projects, including beach cleanups and literacy initiatives.
The Air Force Junior ROTC program also showcased its accomplishments, with cadets participating in over 85 community service events and collecting personal hygiene items for local homeless support programs. Elaine Sexton, the commander of the JROTC, emphasized the program's focus on developing responsible citizens and community involvement.
The ceremony also celebrated the arts, with Matthew Greenlee, a student heavily involved in the drama department, sharing his experiences. The Jensen Beach High School band and choral programs received accolades for their superior performances at competitions, with seniors earning recognition for their contributions to the music community.
