Lake Bluff Farmers Market to Celebrate 32nd Season with New Vendors and Events

The Lake Bluff Farmers Market is set to kick off its 32nd season on June 6, 2025, promising a vibrant array of local produce, baked goods, and entertainment. The market, which has become a staple in the community since its inception in 1993, aims to enhance connections among residents while boosting economic vitality in the downtown area.

Intern Sage Joseph presented the annual report, highlighting that the market will run every Friday from 7 AM to noon until October 10, with a break on July 4. This year, 36 vendors will participate, including 30 returning favorites and several newcomers, such as Awesome Mini Donuts and Forest Greens Juice Bar. The market will also feature musical performances and family-friendly activities, including children's events hosted by the Lake Bluff Library.

The meeting also featured remarks from Rick Mancuso, owner of Lake Forest Sports Cars, who shared insights into his successful family-run business. Mancuso emphasized the importance of maintaining family values in business and expressed gratitude for the community's support over the years. He noted that despite challenges, his dealership has thrived, selling 129 new Ferraris last year and achieving significant sales milestones.

As the Farmers Market prepares for another successful season, it continues to serve as a vital hub for community engagement and local commerce in Lake Bluff.
