The Berkeley County Schools Board of Education held a heartfelt retirement celebration on June 2, 2025, at Musselman High School, honoring 72 dedicated employees who have collectively contributed 1,916 years of service to the district. Rebecca, who dedicated 41 years to education, was commended for her compassion and commitment to student success, while Patricia Jackson, a beloved school secretary, was honored for her 40 years of service across multiple schools. Other notable retirees included Beth Lyons, a National Board Certified teacher recognized for her innovative teaching methods, and Lori Mullen, who spent 35 years nurturing young minds at Tuscarora Elementary.
