City Council approves $10M for home repair programs and storm disaster recovery

Additionally, the regular home repair program is currently assisting 45 homes, with over $40 million of the $50 million allocated from the disaster recovery funds directed towards home repairs. The remaining funds are earmarked for generator purchases.

Council member Plummer expressed gratitude for the direct allocation of funds, emphasizing that it simplifies the process of utilizing the resources effectively.
