The San Leandro Cherry Festival is set to return on Saturday, June 7, 2025, promising a day filled with community spirit and celebration. This cherished event, a staple in San Leandro since 1999, will kick off with a lively cherry parade from 10 AM to 11 AM along East Fourteenth Street. Residents are encouraged to come out and support local schools, businesses, and community groups as they showcase festive floats, classic cars, and colorful costumes.
Following the parade, the Cherry Festival will commence at 11 AM on West Esadillo Avenue and continue until 6 PM. Attendees can look forward to live music, over 50 vendors offering food, crafts, and local goods, a fresh cherry market, a family fun zone, and a classic car show, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
