Lisle Village Board reinstates Economic Development Commission for business growth initiatives

The Village of Lisle is taking a bold step towards revitalizing its economic development efforts by reestablishing the Economic Development Commission (EDC) during the June 2 regular board meeting. This move comes after the dissolution of the previous commission, which was deemed ineffective. The new EDC will consist of seven members appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the village board, including three non-voting advisory members from the business community.
