AISD honors Class of 2025 for academics, scholarships, and military enlistment

Bowie High School celebrated the achievements of its graduating class of 2025 during a heartfelt ceremony on June 4, 2025. The event recognized the hard work and dedication of students who have excelled in various academic programs, including Advanced Placement, P-TECH, AVID, dual credit, and International Baccalaureate courses.

The ceremony began with a tribute to students who have earned associate degrees through the district's first graduating P-TECH class, highlighting their commitment to accelerating their college education. Graduates who received certifications enabling them to enter the workforce were also acknowledged, thanks to the support of the Career and Technology Center.

In addition to academic achievements, the graduating seniors collectively earned millions in scholarships, with many already committed to colleges and universities. The top 2% of the class and those graduating magna cum laude were recognized for their outstanding academic performance.

The ceremony also honored students who have chosen to serve their country by enlisting in the armed forces, emphasizing the importance of their commitment to service.

As the graduates prepared to receive their diplomas, families and friends were reminded to show their appreciation for each student throughout the ceremony. The event concluded with the presentation of diplomas, marking a significant milestone in the lives of the Class of 2025. This celebration not only highlighted individual accomplishments but also underscored the collective spirit and dedication of the Bowie High School community.
