Stratford High School honors valedictorian Natalia Heptameriam for exceptional achievements

The Stratford Board of Education held its 2025 Awards Presentation on June 3, 2025, celebrating the remarkable achievements of students from Stratford High School and Bunnell High School. The event highlighted the academic and extracurricular excellence of the graduating class, with a particular focus on the accomplishments of the valedictorians.

Natalia Heptameriam, the valedictorian of Stratford High School, was recognized for her outstanding academic performance and leadership qualities. With an impressive GPA of 4.52, Natalia has completed seven advanced placement courses and excelled in various honors classes. Her commitment to education will continue as she plans to major in business at Quinnipiac University. Beyond academics, Natalia has made significant contributions to the school's dance program, becoming the first all-state CIAC performer from Stratford High School and leading her team to an SWC championship.

In addition to her achievements in dance, Natalia has held multiple leadership roles, including co-president of the National Honor Society and president of her senior class. Her diverse involvement in extracurricular activities, such as serving as a link crew leader and participating in the chamber orchestra, showcases her dedication to both her peers and the community.

The ceremony also honored Joey Darbelli, the valedictorian of Bunnell High School, who was acknowledged for his contributions to the community and his academic success. The recognition of these students not only celebrates their individual accomplishments but also reflects the commitment of the Stratford School District to fostering excellence in education and leadership.
