Oakland County is set to embark on a transformative redevelopment initiative in Pontiac, following a significant agreement reached during the Economic Development and Infrastructure Committee meeting on June 4, 2025. The committee approved a resolution to partner with the Endeavor Group for the Pontiac Redevelopment, Revitalization, and Reconnect Project, which aims to enhance the downtown area and improve connectivity within the city.
The project, which has been in the works since last July, began with a request for proposals that attracted seven responses. After a thorough evaluation process, the Endeavor Group emerged as the preferred developer, following negotiations that concluded on May 23, 2025.
