Residents of Corona will soon see new housing opportunities as the City Council approved a tentative tract map to subdivide 2.09 acres into seven residential lots during their meeting on June 4, 2025. The development, located on the south side of Corona Avenue and west side of Interstate 15, is spearheaded by applicant Fathy Mansrass.
In addition to housing developments, the meeting highlighted significant advancements in public transportation and environmental initiatives. The Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) reported an 8.9% increase in ridership this year, with a successful Earth Day initiative providing 21,500 free rides. The launch of an autonomous vehicle pilot program on May 12, which offers free rides at the Riverside Municipal Airport, marks a notable innovation in local transit options.

Subscribe for Free Vice Mayor Casillas shared updates on the Clean Mobility Options program, which will introduce 15 electric car share vehicles across Corona, Moreno Valley, and San Jacinto Valley.
