Harmony Planning Commission reviews drive-through expansion for Culver's restaurant

The meeting began with the approval of two certified survey maps. The first, identified as map 25007DashT, pertains to property owned by Hessenauer, which involves the division of land into two lots along Tarrant Road in the town of Harmony. The second map, 25009DashT, involves Diane Reister and concerns a single lot along North Milton Shopeer Road, also in Harmony. Both items were approved under consent without further discussion.

Moving forward, the Commission set a public hearing for June 16, 2025, regarding a conditional use permanent amendment for Bucky's Lucky Bell located at 4 Center Avenue. This amendment aims to expand the existing establishment.

Surrounding businesses include Grama Brewing Company to the north, Taco Bell to the west, and Daniel's Foods and True Value Hardware to the south. All adjacent properties are zoned B-3, General Commercial District, which allows for drive-through restaurants as a conditional use.

The proposed expansion is part of a plan unit development known as Court Street Plaza, which received approval from the Plan Commission in 1992. As such, the Commission's review and approval are necessary for the project to advance.
