Caviar Company hosts fourth annual national caviar day crawl in Tiburon

Tiburon's Town Council has approved the street closure for the upcoming Fourth Annual National Caviar Day Crawl, set to take place on Lower Main Street. The event, organized by Petra Higbee, owner of the Caviar Company, aims to foster community engagement and support local businesses.

During the council meeting, Higbee highlighted the event's success in previous years, noting that last year's crawl attracted 250 attendees and generated significant sales for participating businesses. This year, she anticipates an increase to around 300 participants. The event encourages attendees to explore local shops while enjoying various caviar tastings, effectively boosting foot traffic and sales for local merchants.

The street closure, requested by the police for safety reasons, will allow for a festive atmosphere, including activities for children, such as lasso lessons and horseshoe throwing, under the theme "Caviar Cowgirl." Higbee confirmed that the Tiburon Chamber of Commerce fully supports the initiative, ensuring collaboration with local stakeholders.

The council unanimously approved the street closure, recognizing its potential to enhance community spirit and economic activity. As the event approaches, local businesses are gearing up to participate, promising a lively celebration that showcases Tiburon's unique offerings.
