The City Council of Woodstock, Georgia, made significant strides in urban development during their Planning Commission meeting on June 5, 2025, by approving the removal of two Conditional Use Permit (CUP) cases from the table for public hearings. The unanimous vote allows for further discussion on the proposed developments at 8104 Main Street and 216-218 Rote Mill Road, collectively referred to as Adair Park Johnson and Adair Park West.
The proposed Adair Park Johnson project includes the construction of 56 residential condominium units, comprising 36 one-bedroom, 18 two-bedroom, and 2 three-bedroom units, alongside 22 townhome units. The development will also feature approximately 32,000 square feet of commercial office space, nearly 18,000 square feet of retail space, and over 13,000 square feet dedicated to restaurants. The design incorporates a four to five-story mixed-use building with a grocery store facing Main Street and a parking deck designed to accommodate 341 vehicles, effectively integrating residential and commercial spaces.
