Ally has served in multiple roles, including advisor to the RMS speech and debate club, assistant coach for the Rye High School girls varsity rugby team, and co-advisor to the historical book club. Prior to joining Rye, Ally taught seventh-grade social studies and held positions at Westfield High School and the Nia Community Learning Center. Ally holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and a Master’s in secondary education history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The meeting also included a brief mention of the district's sports achievements, with a nod to past victories against local schools in soccer and football.
