Dallas improves flood control with new Charlie 2 Pump Station construction update

The ongoing construction of the Charlie 2 Pump Station is set to significantly enhance Dallas's flood management capabilities. During a recent government meeting, officials reported that the project, which is currently behind schedule, is expected to be completed and operational by mid-2026. Lastly, officials mentioned plans to reprocure the Trinity Portland project in fiscal year 2027, emphasizing the importance of acquiring necessary real estate and completing environmental actions to move forward.
