Martinsville schools launch open enrollment for 2025-2026 academic year

Martinsville Schools are gearing up for an exciting year ahead as the MSD of Martinsville School Board convened on June 12, 2025, to discuss key developments impacting students and families. A highlight of the meeting was the approval of the boys' golf team to advance to the regional competition in Lafayette after a successful outing at the sectionals. The team will participate in a practice round before the main event, showcasing the school’s commitment to supporting student-athletes.

In addition to athletic achievements, the board announced that open enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is now live. This initiative allows parents from both within and outside the district to enroll their children at any grade level in Martinsville schools. Notably, the district is offering free tuition and reduced-rate scholarships for preschool programs, making early education accessible to families with four-year-olds.
