Valedictorian Leighton Martin inspires AHS Class of 2025 with motivational speech

The Arlington High School Class of 2025 celebrated their graduation ceremony on June 13, 2025, with heartfelt speeches and inspiring performances that highlighted the journey and achievements of the students.

In a motivational address, a speaker emphasized the importance of perseverance, quoting the beloved character Dory from "Finding Nemo," who famously said, "just keep swimming." This message resonated with graduates, encouraging them to overcome obstacles and actively pursue their dreams rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them. The speaker reminded the audience that self-doubt can be the biggest barrier to success and urged everyone to believe in their potential.

Following this uplifting message, the flight choir, led by Mr. Kendrick Weaver, performed "Higher Ground," adding a musical touch to the ceremony and celebrating the accomplishments of the graduates.
