Flight and Airy choirs shine as school's athletic teams achieve multiple championships

The Arlington School District's recent meeting highlighted the impressive achievements of the Class of 2025, particularly in the realms of music and athletics. The discussions centered around the emotional impact of the school's competition choirs, Flight and Airy, which captivated audiences during their performances, showcasing the talent and dedication of the students involved.

In athletics, the accomplishments were equally noteworthy. The football team emerged as league champions, demonstrating strong performance despite a loss in the quarterfinals to Camas, the eventual state champion. Individual athletes also shone, with Leighton Martin being recognized as a 4A All-State quarterback and basketball player, underscoring the depth of talent within the school's sports programs.

The meeting also celebrated the success of various teams, including the volleyball team, which qualified for state, and both boys and girls cross country teams, which were league champions. The boys' basketball team made a commendable effort at state, while the girls' team qualified for districts.
