Arlington High School Class of 2025 celebrates graduation with tassel turning ceremony

The Arlington High School Class of 2025 celebrated a momentous graduation ceremony on June 13, marking both an end and a new beginning for the graduates. The event culminated in the traditional turning of the tassel, a symbolic gesture led by senior class officers Connor Tolsman, Josiah Kristofferson, Adolfo Jimenez Perez, Isabel Kabaric, Grace Davis, and Diamond Dio.

As the ceremony progressed, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and nostalgia. The graduates were reminded that while their time at Arlington High School has concluded, they are now embarking on new adventures. "Regardless of where our journeys take us, we will always be able to trace it back to the special moment that we shared together," one officer stated, emphasizing the lasting connections formed during their years at AHS.

With a countdown, the graduates moved their tassels from right to left, officially marking their transition to alumni status. "Congratulations, you are now officially graduates of Arlington High School," the announcer declared, prompting cheers from families and friends in attendance.

As the ceremony wrapped up, families were instructed to remain seated while the graduates exited the arena, allowing for a moment of reflection and celebration before reuniting outside.
