Chandler residents can look forward to a weekend filled with community events as the city gears up for its inaugural Bridal Play Day this Saturday, June 17. The day will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Orange Tree Park, marking the opening of the city’s 70th park. Following this, celebrations will continue at Brooks Crossing to unveil recent park renovations, and conclude at Gazelle Meadows, which has undergone significant improvements to its drainage and overall infrastructure.
In addition to the park festivities, the city is launching its Summer Reading Challenge, encouraging residents to log their reading minutes for a chance to win prizes. This initiative runs through August 1 and aims to promote literacy and engagement among community members of all ages.
