Berlin selects Main Street site for new school with enhanced safety features

Worcester County officials have made significant strides in the planning of a new school, selecting a site that promises to enhance safety and accessibility for students and the community. During the County Commissioners meeting on June 17, 2025, the commissioners approved the location closest to Main Street for the new Buckingham Elementary School, citing its advantages in traffic management and community connectivity.

The chosen site will feature separate car and bus loops, ensuring safe drop-off and pick-up for students.
