Sargent School honors tenure recipients Debbie O'Connell, Aggie Lopez, and Brianna Orlando

The Beacon City School District Board of Education held a significant meeting on June 17, 2025, celebrating the achievements of staff members and recognizing their contributions to the community. The meeting was marked by heartfelt commendations for those receiving tenure and retirements, highlighting the dedication and impact of educators and support staff within the district.

One of the key highlights was the recommendation of tenure for three teaching assistants: Debbie O'Connell, Aggie Lopez, and Brianna Orlando. Brianna Orlando, a kindergarten teacher, received accolades for her warmth, creativity, and professionalism. Karen Pagano, the former school food service director, was also recognized for her 13 years of service.
