City Council approves final acceptance for Unit 6 boosting residential building permits

The City of Cibolo City Council held a budget workshop on June 17, 2025, where key discussions focused on building permit activity and public safety funding.

On the commercial side, there has been no observed slowdown, as evidenced by the numerous ribbon cuttings taking place in the city.

Another significant topic discussed was the impending conclusion of ARPA funding, which has been crucial for supporting public safety personnel. The city manager expressed concern over the challenges posed by the need for market adjustments in the budget, noting that it is unusual to see two market adjustments within a four-year budget cycle.
