Carrollton district proposes demolition of two vacant buildings to boost land value

In a recent Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD) board meeting, discussions centered on the proposed demolition of two long-vacant facilities: the former Marie Hugh Billy Huey building and the Sheffield Primary building. Both structures have been unoccupied for several years, with the Huey building vacant since 2017 and the Sheffield building since 2022.
