Saratoga Springs council approves Lennar Homes agreement and Still Ridge monument plan

Saratoga Springs City Council has taken significant steps to enhance community development and address local concerns during their meeting on June 17, 2025. The council unanimously approved a reimbursement agreement with Lennar Homes to address missing fence segments in the Fox Hollow neighborhood. This agreement will allow Lennar to receive park impact fee credits in exchange for completing the necessary fencing, ensuring a cohesive look for the community and resolving homeowner encroachments.

In another key decision, the council approved a development agreement with Still Ridge for a city entry monument at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Crossroads Boulevard. This project, budgeted at over $310,000, aims to create a welcoming landmark that reflects the heritage and natural beauty of Saratoga Springs. The monument will feature the city’s logo and motto, along with design elements that highlight local wildlife. A committee comprising city staff, council members, and representatives from Still Ridge will review proposals for the monument's design.

Additionally, the council made amendments to Title 19 of the land development code, streamlining regulations for commercial signage. The changes include consolidating redundant language and clarifying definitions, such as replacing "secondary signs" with "ancillary signs." These updates aim to simplify the approval process for businesses while maintaining community standards.
