Ford County Sheriff joins Northwest Shuttle to reduce inmate transport costs

Dickinson County officials announced significant budget adjustments during the Commission Meeting on June 19, 2025, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of inmate transport and addressing rising medical costs within the jail system.

A key highlight was the integration of the county's transport services into the Northwest Shuttle program, which allows for free transport of inmates across multiple states.
