Mayor Harris proclaims June 28 2025 community is stronger than cancer day in Rock Island

This proclamation acknowledges the historical collaboration between the two cities and their shared commitment to enhancing the riverfront area, which has seen continuous improvements over the years.

Additionally, the council recognized Illinois Casualty Company for its 75th anniversary, commending its contributions to the local economy and community service. The company has played a vital role in job creation and has been actively involved in various community initiatives. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for June 26, 2025, to celebrate this milestone.
