Sanchez Park dedication highlights new community projects in Lariat

The meeting also covered the sidewalk project, which will connect Alta to Sky High and is being integrated with the reconfiguration of Sherman Avenue. This project is expected to cost approximately $1.6 million, with an additional $800,000 allocated for the reconfiguration work.

Lastly, the council noted ongoing construction activities, including site plans approved for a manufactured housing plant and plans for a new hotel, indicating a period of growth and development in Monte Vista.
