School Board approves $40,844 budget increase amid funding adjustments

Local funding remained stable, with no increases or decreases reported. Adjustments were made to meet program needs, including payments to charter schools, reflecting a decrease in average daily membership (ADM). The capital outlay fund saw a significant reduction of approximately $1.5 million, aligning with the county's budget constraints announced earlier in the school year.

The board also discussed the importance of connectivity funding, which supports internet access for students. Although there was a reduction in this area, it was clarified that the adjustments were related to matching funds rather than a direct loss of resources.
