Garden Grove honors winners and inducts Hall of Fame members at awards ceremony

The Garden Grove City Council celebrated local achievements during their recent meeting, highlighting the winners of the annual neighborhood beautification contest. The event recognized residents who have made significant contributions to enhancing the community's appearance.

In District 1, Whitney Silva took the top honor, while Fred Spitzkett was named runner-up. District 2 saw Bonnie Mazarari emerge as the winner, with Gloria and Jose Perez as runners-up, although they were unable to attend the ceremony. Carol Bonema won District 3, with Rochelle Talbot as the runner-up, while District 4's Michelle Hope claimed victory, with Miles Davey as the runner-up, both absent from the event.

In District 5, Patrick and Gigi Sullivan were not only winners but were also inducted into the Hall of Fame for their impressive three-time winning streak. District 6 recognized Dorothy Wilson as the winner, with Christina Lu as the runner-up, also noted for her consistent efforts.
