Creighton Family Resource Center exceeds customer satisfaction goals in community survey

The Creighton Governing Board convened on June 24, 2025, to discuss significant developments within the Creighton Elementary District, particularly focusing on student self-management and community resource satisfaction. The meeting highlighted the district's commitment to improving educational outcomes and community support services.

One of the primary topics was the Panorama survey results, which measure students' perceptions of self-management. The goal was to increase the percentage of students in grades 6 through 8 who respond favorably to self-management indicators from 62% in May 2024 to 66% by May 2025. Although the district fell short of this target, achieving a favorable response rate of 65%, it still marked an improvement from previous years. Notably, female students and seventh and eighth graders exceeded the overall average, indicating positive trends in specific subgroups.

In addition to student feedback, the board reviewed the performance of the Creighton Family Resource Center, which aims to enhance community support. The center's customer satisfaction, measured through the "Listen for Good" survey, showed a remarkable increase from 0% to 41% in favorable responses, surpassing the initial goal of 25%. This survey was developed through collaboration with various stakeholders and aimed to ensure that community needs are met effectively.

The data revealed that 100% of participants would recommend the center, with 91% stating that their needs were met. Respondents reported feeling less stressed and more connected to their community, highlighting the center's role in fostering relationships among families. However, the survey also identified areas for improvement, such as the need for assistance with applications, increased financial support, and better access to technology.

The meeting underscored the district's ongoing efforts to address the needs of its diverse community, which predominantly consists of Hispanic and Latino families. The board's discussions reflect a commitment to enhancing educational experiences and community resources, aiming to create a supportive environment for both students and their families.

As the district moves forward, the insights gained from these surveys will inform future initiatives and resource allocation, ensuring that the Creighton Elementary District continues to adapt and respond to the evolving needs of its community.
