Millbrae City Council approves new appointments to several advisory committees

The Millbrae City Council made significant strides in community engagement during its regular meeting on June 24, 2025, with a focus on appointing and reappointing members to various advisory committees. Among the highlights, the Sister Cities Commission saw the reappointment of Sami Yim and the new appointment of Umid Kapanugu, leaving one vacancy. The Community Enhancement Advisory Committee welcomed back Jean Wong and Ken Smith, while the Cultural Arts Advisory Committee reappointed Nicole Germaine, both committees still have remaining vacancies to fill.
