Community Resource Fair set to engage local vendors and provide health information

Community engagement is set to take center stage at the upcoming Trotwood-Madison City School event, with a focus on connecting families to vital local resources. The school board meeting on June 26, 2025, highlighted plans for a community resource fair, featuring tables from various local organizations, including the library and public health services.

Traditionally, these fairs have been a platform for community vendors to share information, and this year promises to continue that legacy. "All of the buildings will have a table," a board member noted, emphasizing the importance of guidance counselors being present to answer any questions from attendees.

This year marks a shift in leadership for the event, as the responsibility has been handed over to a new team. "I've turned that over to somebody else, and they'll probably take it and run with it," the board member stated, expressing confidence in the new organizers.
