Odysee opens registration for students and providers in UFA program ahead of August deadline

The June 2025 LEA Data Meeting in Utah highlighted significant updates regarding the registration process for educational providers and students under the Utah Funding Agency (UFA). The meeting revealed that the provider registration window is currently open, allowing interested parties to sign up through the Odysee platform. However, both providers and students must re-register, even if they previously participated in the ACE program.

The streamlined student registration process is set to launch on August 1, promising to be quick and efficient, with estimates suggesting it will take around five minutes for parents to complete. This new system aims to enhance accessibility to educational resources, particularly for those seeking higher funding amounts for private school attendance, which can reach up to $8,000. To qualify for this higher funding, students must be enrolled in a registered private school with UFA.

In addition to these updates, the meeting addressed questions regarding the availability of the S5 record and its implications for schools participating in the Child Nutrition Program. The discussions underscored the importance of accurate data management and compliance with federal education standards, particularly for local education agencies (LEAs) identified as needing assistance under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
