Bullock County Jail agreement approved at $32 per prisoner per day

The Spencer County Fiscal Court convened on June 6, 2025, to address several key agenda items, including agreements for prisoner housing and facility reimbursements, as well as discussions on infrastructure improvements.

A motion to accept the AOC facility reimbursement contract was made by Zach and seconded by Mike, with the court approving the motion without opposition.

The court revisited a previous discussion about blacktopping the area around the recycling center and the EMS building. An estimate of $50,100 was presented for the blacktopping work, with an additional $7,000 for improvements in front of the EMS garage.
