"I feel really appreciative and feel like my efforts in the field of mathematics at the high school have really paid off," he shared. His passion for math is evident, as he has been an active member of the math team since ninth grade, participating in Mathletes and Math Olympiads, which he describes as both fun and intellectually stimulating.
Teachers praised Liu for his innate ability and hard work, noting that he is a rare type of student who not only excels academically but also inspires his peers.
