Milford approves 44 affordable housing units with incentives and traffic safety review

Milford City officials are taking significant steps to enhance affordable housing options following a recent Planning and Zoning meeting. The board discussed a proposed development that aims to construct 44 townhouse-style units on a two-acre parcel at the corner of North Street and Kozlowski Road. This initiative aligns with Connecticut's General Statutes 8-30g, which encourages towns to create designated areas for affordable housing.

One of the key features of the proposed legislation is its potential to incentivize towns like Milford to meet specific housing goals.
