Building and Grounds committee reviews safety upgrades for Sunset Drive and Guthrie intersection

Alternatively, the committee could direct staff to include the safety improvements as a future Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) item, ensuring it does not interfere with existing planned projects.

The meeting highlighted the need for further discussion on funding options for the intersection improvements, with members encouraged to consider both immediate and long-term solutions. The session concluded with a commitment to revisit the topic in future meetings, ensuring that community safety remains a priority.
