The move gives House of Wax more retail space and new customer amenities. Vitaglia said a local technician, David Lillington, refurbishes used equipment the shop sells. \"We do have a couple turntables set up with some headphones. You can check out a used record before you buy it if you want to,\" he said.

Community support and cross-promotion with other downtown businesses were central to the shop's growth, Vitaglia and the Chamber said. Vitaglia credited regular customers and local partners for enabling the move and said the shop had 60 to 70 people inside during the ribbon cutting. \"It's a testament to our regulars and our customers who have helped us out in this first year,\" he said.

Vitaglia said hours are Wednesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the shop is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
