Cupertino plans Saratoga Creek trail and park despite tree removal concerns

This distinction is based on species, with oak trees generally requiring more replacements than other types.

City officials confirmed that while the master plan for the project is funded, construction funding has not yet been secured. The city is currently gathering feedback from residents through public workshops and direct communication. The finalized master plan is expected to be presented to the city council next year, where further direction will be determined.
