Clay County honors Craig Reno and Sean Mork for service milestones

During the recent Clay County Board of Commissioners meeting held on July 1, 2025, significant recognition was given to several long-serving employees, highlighting their contributions to the community and the county's operations.

Craig Reno was honored for his remarkable 25 years of dedicated service to Clay County. His appreciation for reaching this milestone was conveyed by Carrie, who expressed gratitude on his behalf. This acknowledgment reflects the county's commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of its employees.

Additionally, Sean Mork and Eli, both celebrated for their 15 years of service, received commendations from the Sheriff. Sean, who transitioned from being the chief in Lake Park to a key role in investigations, has played a pivotal part in developing the sergeant position within that division. His upcoming return to patrol duties marks a significant shift, as Eli is set to take over the sergeant role in investigations, a position that Sean has established with great success.

Eli, also recognized for his 15 years of service, has been instrumental in various capacities, including as a use of force and firearms instructor. His experience and contributions are expected to enhance the investigations division as he steps into his new role.

Lastly, Susan Olsen was acknowledged for her impressive 35 years of service in public health, underscoring the vital role that long-term employees play in maintaining the health and well-being of the community.
