Voorhees Township Board honors student Sadie Riviello and retiring educators

In a vibrant gathering at the Voorhees Township Board of Education meeting on June 9, 2025, the atmosphere buzzed with pride and celebration as students and educators took center stage. The meeting, led by President Watson, began with a warm welcome, despite the absence of board member Mister Bryce, who joined remotely due to illness.

Principal Sals from Signal Hill School proudly introduced fourth grader Sadie Riviello, who won first place in the annual Camden County poster contest. Sadie’s artwork, which featured the names and portraits of county commissioners, stood out among 400 submissions. The board members, especially President Watson, beamed with pride, sharing personal anecdotes about Sadie’s character and talent, emphasizing the importance of nurturing such promising young individuals.

Following Sadie’s recognition, Miss McGill, an art teacher from Crescent School, showcased the creative talents of students across the district.
