Quick Trip proposes eco-friendly gas station development in Riverwood

A new gas station development proposal took center stage at the Village of Riverwoods Board of Trustees meeting on July 1, 2025, as Quick Trip representatives outlined plans for a state-of-the-art facility. Trustee Jamerson raised a pertinent question regarding electric vehicle charging provisions. Quick Trip confirmed they are open to installing charging stations, with plans to run conduits to two designated parking spaces, making the site "charging station ready" for future partnerships with companies like Tesla.
