Hillgrove Tap celebrates three successful years in Tinley Park with upscale offerings

Hillgrove Tap, an upscale sports bar and restaurant located at 9501 West 175th Street in Tinley Park, is celebrating nearly three successful years since its opening in July 2022. Owner Chris Elsey shared insights about the establishment during a recent government meeting, highlighting its commitment to quality food and community engagement.

Elsey expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the town and its residents since taking over the location. Hillgrove Tap prides itself on offering scratch-made upscale bar food, a rotating cocktail menu, and an impressive selection of over 30 beers on tap. The venue features a party room that accommodates up to 50 guests and a patio that can host between 80 to 100 people, making it a popular choice for various events, including weddings and family celebrations.

The bar has also become a notable stop on the local Ale Trail, contributing to a significant boost in sales, particularly on Wednesdays, where it has seen a 30-35% increase in business. Elsey noted the collaborative spirit among local businesses, which enhances the community's appeal.

In addition to regular offerings, Hillgrove Tap has introduced themed brunch buffets for special occasions, such as Easter and Father's Day, with plans for a back-to-school event in September. These initiatives have attracted families and fostered a sense of community.
