Developers propose 408-unit townhome and apartment community along Andrews Chapel Road

During the recent Durham City Council meeting on May 19, 2025, a significant proposal to rezone approximately 16.5 acres along Andrews Chapel Road was discussed, aiming to develop a new townhome and apartment community. The plan seeks to create up to 408 residential units, including 383 multifamily apartments and 25 townhomes, in an area that has seen considerable growth in similar housing developments over the past five years.
