As part of this initiative, patients will also have the opportunity to manage their medical records and communicate with their care teams via MyChart. For those needing to complete documentation upon arrival, iPads will be available for electronic review and signature, simplifying the check-in process. The Epic Welcome will initially roll out in primary care clinics, with plans to expand to hospital and specialty clinic settings in the coming months. Notably, the service will be offered in six languages, ensuring inclusivity for San Francisco's diverse population.
