The San Francisco City Commission has conditionally approved the schematic design for Under Ramp Park, a long-awaited green space in the Mission Bay area. Under Ramp Park, which is approximately 2.5 acres, has been in the planning stages since the Transbay redevelopment plan was adopted in 2005. The park's design has undergone extensive revisions over the years, with the latest iteration incorporating a historically relevant zigzag modern structure. The collaborative effort involves multiple agencies, including the Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) and the California Department of Transportation, with the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII) leading the funding and construction efforts.
