Arlington celebrates 60 years of parade with Saint John Church and North Texas Jeep Club

The Arlington community came together to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the city's 4th of July Parade, showcasing a vibrant display of local pride and unity. The event featured a variety of participants, including churches, schools, and community organizations, each contributing to the festive atmosphere.

Saint John the Apostle United Methodist Church marked its own milestone, celebrating 40 years of service and community impact. Their message of hope and encouragement resonated with attendees, reminding everyone to "let your light shine bright" on this special day.

The North Texas Jeep Club added a unique flair to the parade with eight decorated Jeeps, proudly displaying the patriotic colors of red, white, and blue. Many of the drivers were retired and active military veterans, highlighting the community's respect and appreciation for those who have served.

Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School, a cornerstone of education in Arlington for over 70 years, also participated in the festivities. Their float celebrated the school's commitment to nurturing students in a safe and faith-filled environment, emphasizing the importance of education and community values.
