Council approves reconstruction plans for Beach Marina Building and Lifeguard Tower

In a proactive move, the Parks and Recreation Department proposed an increase in the purchase order for portable toilet services from Duty Calls, raising the contract value to $250,000. This measure aims to ensure readiness for any future storm events that may disrupt restroom facilities.

The meeting also addressed land use, with the council approving voluntary annexations for two properties, allowing them to receive city services such as sewer and solid waste management.
