Moresville City Council approves Lake Norman Tennis Center's conditional rezoning proposal

The Mooresville Board of Commissioners convened on July 7, 2025, to discuss several key agenda items, with a primary focus on a conditional rezoning request for the Lake Norman Tennis Center. The planning board unanimously recommended approval of the rezoning on May 27, 2025. During the meeting, Commissioner Crawford confirmed that the applicant agreed to the proposed conditions outlined in the draft ordinance.

Following the presentation, a motion was made by Commissioner West to approve the conditional rezoning request, citing its alignment with the town's strategic plan and compatibility with surrounding commercial uses. The motion received a second from Commissioner Aiven and was unanimously approved by the board.
